NC Cooperative Extension Hyde County Center is excited to partner with the Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge and the Mattamuskeet Lodge Society to bring a special American Hiking Society National Trails Day® experience to our community!
This event is designed to get people outdoors, active, and connected with the incredible natural resources right here in Hyde County while also promoting environmental stewardship and education about our local wildlife and ecosystems. From guided hikes and wildlife observation to family-friendly activities and outdoor exploration, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
